Deployment Immunizations
The Military Vaccine Agency (MILVAX) recommends the vaccinations below for all personnel. Selected personnel may require other vaccines as dictated by appropriate medical authority. Additional vaccines may be required, depending on where you're going.
You can also find more information about the immunizations at http://chppm-www.apgea.army.mil/dcpm/CDI/DMIS.htm. These Deployment Medication Information Sheets (DMIS) provide Soldiers and concerned Family members with information on vaccines and other preventive medications they will receive in preparation for movement and/or during their deployment. Each DMIS provides basic information in laymen's terms and is divided by subheadings of uses, how to use, side effects, precautions, drug interactions, and notes.
