Deployment: Iraq

Environmental health factors posing the greatest risk (in descending order) to forces deployed to Iraq include: inadequate supplies of potable water, air and water pollution, dust storms, sandstorms, and floods.
Pre-deployment immunizations for all personnel include Hepatitis A, MMR, Td and Influenza. Selected personnel may require other vaccines as dictated by appropriate medical authority.
