Deployment: Kuwait
Environmental factors posing the greatest health risk (in descending order) to forces deployed to Kuwait include:- water contaminated with raw sewage and industrial waste (primarily from refineries),
- localized air and soil contamination,
- extreme heat (May through September), and
- frequent dust and sand storms (heaviest in May through September).
|  | Pre-deployment immunizations for all personnel include Hepatitis A, MMR, Td, Influenza and Typhoid. Selected personnel may require other vaccines as dictated by appropriate medical authority.
