From the Department of Veterans Affairs

VAS may be gaining access to military personnel through their close resemblance to the VA name and seal (note their website: www.vaservices.org/us/) In addition if you have any examples of VAS acts that violate chapter 59 of Title 38 USC, such as VAS employees assisting veterans in the preparation and presentation of claims for benefits, please contact Mr. Daugherty at the following address: Staff Attorney, Dept of VA, Office of General Counsel, 810 Vermont Ave, Rm 1106, Washington, D.C., 20420 or email: michael.daugherty2@va.gov."
