Technical Report: Tobacco Cessation Program Comparison    *UPDATED*
Tobacco use negatively impacts force readiness and the ability to accomplish the mission. Short-term readiness impacts of tobacco use include increased numbers of sick call visits, increased incidence of cold weather and training injuries, decreased night vision, decreased hand-eye coordination, and reduced stamina. There is good news. This comparison across Tobacco Cessation Programs showed two critical factors for participant success: group support and the use of pharmacotherapy (nicotine replacement therapy and bupropion SR).

A Lung Cancer Survivor's Story
